Sonepar USA, Philadelphia, announced it's acquiring Codale Electric Supply, Salt Lake City, Utah. Codale has 12 locations in Utah, Nevada and Wyoming, where it serves a variety of electrical markets depending on local conditions, ranging from residential and commercial to industrial, mining, process industries, data centers, utility transmission and distribution systems and substations. The acquisition adds substantially to Sonepar's operations in the mountain states. Founded in 1975 by Dale Holt, Codale has grown to over $220 million in sales in 2011.
