Brian Harrison Joins Solyndra as President and CEO

Solyndra Inc., (Fremont, Calif.): This manufacturer of cylindrical solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for commercial rooftops announced that Brian Harrison has joined the company as president and CEO and will be appointed to the board of directors. Harrison has served as president and CEO of Numonyx, B.V., an international flash memory company and as V.P. and general manager of the Flash Memory Group of Intel Corp. He has a BA in chemical engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
