National Safety Apparel (NSA), Cleveland, a 76-year-old manufacturer of safety apparel, has acquired Seattle-based Vinatronics, a high-visibility apparel manufacturer. National Safety Apparel is a manufacturer of safety apparel for the electric, thermal, cut, rainwear and hi-visibility markets. NSA and Vinatronics both manufacture their products in the United States, and Duane Siders, NSA’s V.P. of sales, said in the press release announcing the deal, “This acquisition is a clear indication that Made-in-the-USA is more important to the safety industry than ever before, and National Safety Apparel is committed to offering high-quality and innovative products manufactured right here in the United States. We are extremely excited about this acquisition.”
