Landis+Gyr announced the appointment of Heath Thompson to the role of vice president and CTO, North America. He comes to the company from posts at Internet Security Systems and IBM.

"Heath will play a vital role as we continue to strengthen and secure our Smart Grid technology," said Richard Mora, CEO of Landis+Gyr. "His extensive experience in product development, coupled with his deep knowledge of security systems, makes him an excellent addition to our executive team."
