LED maker EvoLucia appoints new VP of international sales and marketing

EvoLucia, Inc., the LED lighting division of Sarasota, Fla.-based Sunovia Energy Technologies, has have hired Kevin Arthur as vice president of international sales and marketing. Arthur previously served as head of international sales and marketing for lighting industry giant Cooper Industries, where he was responsible for growing sales from $5 million to $37 million.

Arthur will be responsible for spearheading global sales and marketing of EvoLucia's LED lighting products and managing a network of international sales representatives and consultants. Prior to heading Cooper Industries' international sales division, Arthur formed Lighting Technology, Inc., a lighting manufacturer representative firm specializing in commercial, industrial and utility lighting and controls. He has a B.S. in business administration from the University of Dayton and an MBA in international business from Benedictine University.
