Leviton promotes Dabbicco, LaMontagne & Weigand

Leviton Manufacturing Co. Inc. (Melville, N.Y.):Gino Dabbicco has been appointed North East regional sales manager for Leviton's Distribution Sales Division. In his career of almost 30 years with Leviton, Dabbicco has held a series of key positions in sales and marketing, including corporate director of marketing; national director of sales for the Connected Home initiative; marketing director for the Residential Business Unit; commercial marketing manager; Distribution Sales Representative; supply chain supervisor; and inside sales representative. He holds a BS degree in communications from St. John's University.

In another appointment, John LaMontagne is now director of specification sales for the company's Lighting Management Systems business. In his new post LaMontagne will lead the company's Technical Sales team to drive product sales through architects, lighting designers, design engineers and other members of the specification community.

LaMontagne began his career with Leviton in 1994 as a specification engineer for the Distribution Sales group, and over the past sixteen years also served as the Northeast regional sales manager for Distribution; Eastern region manager for National Accounts; national corporate training manager and Northeast regional manager for Lighting Management Systems. Prior to joining Leviton he had extensive experience working for a New England electrical contracting firm. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Leviton is also pleased to announce the appointment of David Weigand to the position of Northwest regional sales manager for the company's Lighting Management Systems business. In his new post, Weigand will focus on expanding the market for Leviton's integrated line of lighting energy management products throughout the Northwest region. Weigand began his career with Leviton as a product manager for the company's lighting management systems business and was named national accounts manager in 2008. Before joining Leviton, he worked as manager of lighting and electrical standards for the Starbucks Coffee chain, where he developed standards for energy efficiency and created lighted environments that enhanced customer satisfaction. During his 30-year career, he has also worked in the lighting consulting, contracting and commercial construction industries, in addition to the public utility sector, where he established energy incentive programs for Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, Washington Water Power and the Bonneville Power Administration. Weigand holds a BS in Eelctrical engineering from Portland State University.
