Schneider Electric announced a strategic technology acquisition of the Viridity EnergyCenter 2.0 platform, the flagship product of a well-known start-up specializing in data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software that provides a cross-functional solution for understanding the connection between physical infrastructure, IT equipment and the applications that run on them.

With this investment Schneider Electric will acquire the intellectual property and software behind the Viridity EnergyCenter 2.0 platform. The investment will augment Schneideer's StruxureWare for Data Center Operations DCIM suite
