Intermatic Inc. (Spring Grove, Ill.): Oscar Ibarra is now V.P., global sales. His area of expertise is the growth of international markets. Ibarra has been with Schneider Electric and Eaton (Cooper Wiring Devices), where he was most recently engaged as a consultant developing international business and distribution channels, including working on global roadway lighting projects in Europe.
In his role at Intermatic, Ibarra will lead the company’s sales organization and focus on growth in North and South America, Europe, Latin America the Caribbean and Asia. Ibarra and his wife will relocate to the company’s Spring Grove headquarters from Atlanta.
Border States Electric (BSE) (Fargo, N.D.): James Sipe is the company’s new strategy enablement director. Sipe came to BSE by way of its acquisition of Shealy Electrical Wholesalers, which it acquired earlier this month.
Sipe’s new responsibilities include establishing and leading the Strategy Enablement Team. The team’s responsibilities include business intelligence, mergers and acquisitions integration, project management, continuous process improvement and repeatable processes. He joined Shealy in 2011 and has been vice president of operations since June 2013. Sipe and his wife and two sons will relocate to Fargo.
