Rexel SA (Paris): Sharon MacBeath will be group senior V.P. human resources and member of the Executive Committee, effective Nov. 4, succeeding Jean-Dominique Perret, who will retire by the end of the year. MacBeath was senior V.P. human resources and communication for Redcats, part of Kering Group, where she developed and implemented a comprehensive organization and human resources strategy to support Redcats’ transformation from a portfolio of catalogue brands into a leading e-commerce business. She graduated from the University of Glasgow in Scotland and has a master’s degree in human resources from the University La Sorbonne (Paris I) and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
Crescent Electric Supply (East Dubuque, Ill.): Erich Lemke has joined the company as the V.P., CIO and will oversee all IT growth initiatives, implementations and infrastructures. Prior to joining Crescent Electric Supply, Lemke was chief technology officer for a dot-com marketing platform that reached tens of millions of consumers each week. He has experience with e-commerce, open architecture and legacy systems.
Siemens AG (Munich): The company has appointed Ralf Thomas as CFO. He was previously CFO at the company’s Industry Sector. In other news at Siemens AG, the current co-CEO of SAP, Jim Hagemann Snabe, is to be appointed member of the Supervisory Board by court order on application by the company as successor to Josef Ackermann, who left the Siemens Supervisory Board at his own request on Sept. 30. “In view of the growing strategic importance of digitalization for Siemens’ core businesses, we are adding to the technology and software competence of the Supervisory Board with the appointment of Jim Hagemann Snabe,” said Gerhard Cromme, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG. “We are gaining an internationally respected expert in this area. I am looking forward to working with him.”
Border States Electric (BSE) (Fargo, N.D.): Jason Stein is now COO. He joined BSE in May 1995 as a management trainee and has worked in various positions from product manager to director of sales. In April 2010, he was named V.P. sales and appointed to the company’s executive council. Most recently he was the V.P. Northwest region and executive V.P. In addition, he joined company’s senior leadership team.
In other news at Border States, David Held has been promoted to marketing services manager. His new responsibilities include managing the company’s creative and catalog teams while continuing to lead digital channel development. Held has more than 16 years in marketing and strategic planning and has an extensive background of integrating the voice of the customer into marketing and sales organizations. He began his career at BSE in Aug. 2012 as the digital strategy manager.
