Allied Wire & Cable wins export award from U.S. Commerce Dept.
Allied Wire & Cable, Collegeville, Pa., a family-owned and operated distributor and specialty manufacturer of wire and cable, was recognized for its contributions to the expansion of U.S. exports in a May 28 ceremony in Washington, D.C. Allied Wire & Cable received the President’s “E” Award for Exports, one of the highest honors available to U.S. companies involved in international trade. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker presented Tim Flynn, Allied Wire & Cable’s president and CEO, with the award.
