Arlington Industries And Bridgeport Fittings Settle Lawsuits

Arlington Industries Inc., Scranton, Pa., and Bridgeport Fittings Inc., Bridgeport, Conn., have agreed to settle two lawsuits pending in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania involving claims by Arlington that 24 of Bridgeport’s Snap-In and Speed-Snap products allegedly infringe three separate Arlington patents.

Arlington Industries Inc., Scranton, Pa., and Bridgeport Fittings Inc., Bridgeport, Conn., have agreed to settle two lawsuits pending in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania involving claims by Arlington that 24 of Bridgeport’s Snap-In and Speed-Snap products allegedly infringe three separate Arlington patents. Arlington’s patents cover its Snap-Tite and Snap2It line of products. While the precise terms of the settlement are confidential, Bridgeport has agreed to immediately remove all of its Snap-In and Speed-Snap products from the market. The parties look forward to putting all litigation behind them and concentrating their efforts on serving the electrical fittings industry.
