Mayer Buys Electric Supply Of Macon

Mayer Electric Supply, Birmingham, Ala., recently agreed to purchase the assets of Electric Supply of Macon, Ga. The company will become a division of Mayer Electric Supply.

Electric Supply of Macon was founded in 1997 and has grown quickly in 11 years. Bob White, owner and president of Electric Supply of Macon, will continue as the branch manager of the location.

Mike Kidney, Mayer’s regional vice president, said, “We are very pleased to be joining forces with Electric Supply. We have wanted to be a part of the central Georgia area for some time, and the opportunity to have Bob and his team become a part of Mayer is absolutely the best way we could make this happen.”

Mayer was ranked the nation’s 11th largest electrical distributor, according to Electrical Wholesaling’s Top 200 listing.
