The Reynolds Co., Dallas, will take on the Allen-Bradley franchise for additional locations in the Gulf Coast region of Texas and Louisiana.

According to Walt Reynolds, company president, The Reynolds Co. will sell Allen-Bradley products at its existing location in Houston and new locations it will open in Lufkin and Beaumont, Texas; Sulphur/Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans, La.

The company has been an Allen-Bradley distributor for 16 years, and recently got the Allen-Bradley Area of Primary Responsibility (APR) for the eight branches in north Texas it acquired from Warren Electric in July. (See EM, July 26, p. 1.) These locations are in Dallas, Longview, Paris, San Antonio, Sherman, Tyler, Wichita Falls and Waco.

The Reynolds Co. had $95 million in 2001 sales and was ranked the 45th largest distributor in the United States on Electrical Wholesaling's Top 250 listing.
