U.S. Electrical Services LLC (USESI, Chester Springs, Pa.): Randy Moore has been appointed president of the Florida region. Moore joins USESI from Sonepar USA where he was vice president of operations for the World Electric Division. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales for the Caribbean and Dade County, Fla. markets. Previously, he was a regional manager for Rexel.
Ferraz Shawmu (Newburyport, Mass.): Stephen Colvin has been appointed vice president of marketing. His responsibilities extend to all aspects of the marketing department including product line management, marketing communications, public relations and market research. Colvin previously spent 14 years at ABB Inc., most recently as director of product management. Kent Walker was named director of technical sales and services. He will lead the company’s efforts in offering technical and customer services and will be responsible for the application engineering, customer service and industrial market development teams. Ann Sicard was appointed marketing communications specialist. She will report to Colvin.
ABB Automation Products (New Berlin, Wis.): Michael Mikolajczak has been named a product line manager for ABB Automation Products, low-voltage drives. Mikolajczak is responsible for the growth, strategic planning and lifecycle management of the ACS50, ACS150, ACS350 and ACS550 AC drive product lines. Most recently, Mikolajczak was a business-marketing consultant for global companies based in the United States and Asia.
Vince Saputo has been named southeast district sales manager for Prism Business Media’s Electrical Wholesaling and Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M) magazines. He will work out of the company’s Atlanta office. Saputo has a background in business-to-business publishing, sales and association experience. Most recently, he was the sales and marketing manager for the TAPPI Association in the pulp, paper and converting products arena based in Norcross, Ga. Before that, he worked in publishing/management positions in the suburban Chicago area.
Leviton Manufacturing Co. (Little Neck, N.Y.): George Pinckney has been appointed training manager for Leviton Integrated Networks and Controls’ Residential Systems Group. He will develop technical documentation and training programs to support Leviton’s newest lighting controls and home automation products. Pinckney has a background in residential lighting controls and home automation, including 17 years experience in sales and corporate training.
Graybar Electric Co. (St. Louis): Paul H. Koebbe has been named national market manager — security. In this new position, Koebbe will be responsible for leading Graybar’s security marketing initiative. Most recently, he was project manager for iBridge Solutions LLC.
Johnstone Supply Inc. (Portland, Ore.): Ray Kernagis has been named supply chain vice president. He has a background in integrating new systems technology within the distribution and operations environment. Kernagis will work to further improve and streamline Johnstone’s distribution operations.
Data Comm Electronics (Norcross, Ga.): Jeff Jeffress has been appointed regional sales manager for the eastern United States and all of Canada. Previously, he worked as the regional sales manager and product field expert for ChannelPlus and Open House distribution systems.
Generation Brands (Cary, N.C.): Daniel S. Macsherry has joined the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Macsherry was most recently chief financial officer and vice president of finance for Irwin Industrial Tool. Generation Brands is the holding and operating company formed with the recent mergers of Murray Feiss Import, Sea Gull Lighting Products and Encompass Lighting Group.
Pass & Seymour/Legrand (Syracuse, N.Y.): Sue Magari has been promoted to vice president of human resources for the company’s North America operations. Magari was most recently the director of human resources for North America operations.
IP Group International (Scottsdale, Ariz.): Jeff Darbut has joined the company as an associate, and his responsibilities include adding inventory optimization modules. Jim Hribar has joined IP Group as an associate. He will provide hands-on implementation and business skills in his position. He has more than 30 years experience in industrial automation and high-tech training.
