James “Jamey” Yore has been named president of Electrical Marketing Services, Altamonte Springs, Fla. In his 10 years with the rep firm, Yore has held positions in inside and outside sales, served as vice president of operations and most recently as vice president of sales and marketing. Yore was the 2005 recipient of the Electrical Marketing/Electrical Wholesaling GEM Rising Star Award, which recognizes those independent reps whose early careers and industry contributions show promise of leadership. Yore succeeds his father, Joe Yore, who started the business in 1986. Joe Yore was the 2000 recipient of the Electrical Marketing/Electrical Wholesaling GEM Award.

Remke Industries, Wheeling, Ill., recently appointed D&R Solutions as their manufacturers representative for Maryland and the northern half of Virginia. D&R will be responsible for sales and marketing for both Remke product lines: Tuff-Seal wire management products and Tuff-Link molded connectors and cordsets.

Knight Electronics, Dallas, has announced that CanaREP will represent Knight’s full line of OEM products, including Orion Fans, to all markets in Canada. CanaREP has six offices across Canada.
