July 26, 2006

Williams Bros. Lumber Co., Atlanta, a subsidiary of Home Depot Supply, has agreed to acquire Forest Products Supply Inc.

Forest Products Supply is a family-owned and operated building material supplier in Sarasota County, Fla.

The sale of Forest Products Supply to Home Depot comes two months after Home Depot bought Cox Lumber Co. of St. Petersburg, Fla., a lumber and building materials dealer.

The acquisition is expected to further strength Williams Bros. and Cox Lumber’s professional supply business within key markets, said Home Depot.
