Steve Helle, president of Granite City Electric, Quincy, Mass., was elected to serve as chairman-elect of the board of directors of IMARK Group at IMARK Group’s 2005 annual meeting, held Oct. 8-11 in Orlando, Fla. Helle’s two-year term will begin at the 2006 annual meeting, to be held in La Quinta, Calif., on Oct. 15, 2006. He will succeed Vic Jury Jr., president and CEO of Summit Electric Supply, Albuquerque, N.M.
Additionally, the following company executives were elected to serve two three-year terms on the board of directors: Mark Kilmer of Republic Cos., Davenport, Iowa; Charles “Skip” Loeb of Loeb Electric Supply, Columbus, Ohio; and Bob Zamarippa of OneSource Distributors, Oceanside, Calif. Three board members completed their second terms of service: Tom Cloud of United Electric Supply, Wilmington, Del.; Lee Hite of The Hite Co., Altoona, Pa.; and Bob La Rue, Alameda Electrical Distributors, Alameda, Calif.Osram Sylvania (Danvers, Mass.): Several appointments have been made to the general lighting division’s executive team. Tim Lesch was named vice president of sales for the company’s consumer products channel. He had served as vice president of the industrial commercial sales channel since April 2000 and vice president of sales for consumer products between 1995 and 2000. Succeeding Lesch as vice president of sales for the industrial commercial channel is Mark Corcoran, previously manager of industrial commercial national and government accounts. Corcoran’s promotion comes after several years of successful expansion within the national accounts group. Dwight Kitchen, who served as director of sales for Sylvania Lighting Services (SLS) since 2002, has been promoted to vice president of sales for the OEM/special markets sales channel. Kitchen oversaw significant growth in SLS sales and previously was manager of the commercial engineer group.
