Jim Lucy, chief editor of Electrical Wholesaling magazine, was recognized at the recent NEMRA Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., for his 25 years of service to the electrical industry. Lucy began his career in the electrical industry in 1982 as an associate editor for the magazine at McGraw-Hill Publishing Co. in New York. He was hired by George Ganzenmuller, chief editor of Electrical Wholesaling magazine for more than 30 years until his death in 1986. Lucy also worked with Tom Preston, co-founder of NEMRA, who was the magazine’s editorial director from 1988 to 1991 and a junior editor for the magazine in the 1950s.
