EPI Registers 0.4% Change in October

For the second consecutive month, the Electrical Price Index (EPI) increased less than one-half percent over the previous month. Building wire (+1.6%) and fasteners (+2.5%) were the only products with a monthly increase of more than one percent. No product groups decreased by that amount. Year-to-year the EPI was up 4.6%, led by building wire’s 26-percent increase.
