EPI Falls 0.9 Percent from December

Electrical Marketing’s Electrical Price Index fell 0.9 percent in January from December. Power wire and cable saw the biggest decrease with a -12.7 percent decline, followed by building wire with a 5.4 percent decline.
Motors saw the biggest increase (up two percent), followed by generators and air conditioners with 1.4 percent gains. Five categories held steady.
