Schneider partners with Cisco for energy management

Schneider Electric has teamed with Cisco Systems to provide a new energy management solution that monitors and manages energy consumption across all building domains. The combined solution integrates Schneider’s EcoStruxure portfolio with Cisco EnergyWise to help users manage all energy-consuming building assets, including HVAC, lighting, security and, for the first time, reduce energy waste generated from IT/IP assets, including PCs, phones, Catalyst switches, power-over-ethernet (PoE) and other IT devices.
