Hughes Supply Says Waiting Period For Home Depot Deal Expires

Hughes Supply Inc., Atlanta, said the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 relating to the proposed acquisition of Hughes Supply by The Home Depot expired on Feb. 13.

The transaction remains subject to various closing conditions, including the approval of Hughes Supply shareholders.
