Allied Group Sales, with headquarters in Phoenix, announced the purchase of half interest of the agency by Mick Upchurch. Upchurch joins Don Kaminski, president, in equal ownership of the agency. Upchurch, who joined Allied Group Sales in July 2005 as vice president of sales, is now chief executive officer. Dave Mehrer will leave Allied Group Sales to pursue other opportunities, but he will remain with the agency for a short period to insure a smooth transition. Additionally, the rep firm has been appointed as the representative for Plymouth Rubber, Canton, Mass., in the following territories: Arizona; Las Vegas; New Mexico; and El Paso, Texas.
