National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)(Rosslyn, Va.): David FitzGibbon, vice chairman and CEO, ILSCO, has been appointed chairman of the

National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)(Rosslyn, Va.): David FitzGibbon, vice chairman and CEO, ILSCO, has been appointed chairman of the 2011 Board of Governors for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). In his role as chairman, FitzGibbon will guide the organization's operations in the areas of commerce and economics, standards and conformity assessment, government relations and section affairs.

Graybar Electric Co. (St. Louis): Kathleen Mazzarella was promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president and chief operating officer. With this updated title, she will continue in her role overseeing all of sales and marketing.

Allied Wire & Cable (Collegeville, Pa.): Kevin Watkins has joined the company's sales force. His electrical industry background includes posts in the wire and cable industry and experience as an electrician, project manager/estimator and inside construction sales rep.

Barron Lighting Group (Phoenix): Christine Humphrey is now marketing director. She brings more than 17 years of electrical industry marketing experience, has won several national awards for her marketing campaigns, and holds a B.S. in marketing from Arizona State University. The company also promoted Jessica McCain to inside sales manager for Barron's Exitronix, TraceLite and SpecialtyLED lines, and Maureen Comeau as product manager for Exitronix, Barron Lighting's emergency lighting division. Comeau has been with the company for more than three years and holds a B.S. degree from the University of Arizona.

Quanta Services Inc. (Houston): John Wilson, president of the company's Electric Power Division, will retire from his current position at the end of 2010. He will serve in an advisory capacity to PAR Electrical Contractors, Inc., a subsidiary of Quanta Services.

Earl C. “Duke” Austin, Jr., president of Quanta's Natural Gas and Pipeline Division, will additionally assume the oversight of the company's Electric Power Division. Austin brings more than two decades of industry experience to this position at Quanta and represents the fourth generation of family history in the electrical business. Before becoming president of the Natural Gas and Pipeline Division, he served as president of North Houston Pole Line (NHPL), a Quanta Services company.
