    EPI Rises 2.2 Percent from March to April

    EM’s Price Index increased 2.2 percent in April due to increases in prices for building wire (11.8%); power wire & cable (4.6%); telephone supplies (4.5%); lamps (2.9%); and switchgear (1.4%)

    EM’s Price Index increased 2.2 percent in April due to increases in prices for building wire (11.8%); power wire & cable (4.6%); telephone supplies (4.5%); lamps (2.9%); and switchgear (1.4%). All other categories saw month-to-month changes of less than one percent. Building wire and power wire and cable pricing is down 19.4 percent and 20.6 percent, respectively, from 2008.
