The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), St. Louis, honored three industry leaders at its Annual Meeting in May. Richard Butler, chairman and CEO of Butler Supply Inc., Fenton, Mo., received NAED's highest honor, the 2003 NAED Arthur W. Hooper Award, which is presented to an individual who has led an exceptional career in distribution spanning many years. M. Joel Bateman, chairman of the Global Supply Solutions Team for Hagemeyer N.V., was awarded the 2003 NAED Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes outstanding and dedicated service to the association and the electrical distribution industry. Wesson Brown, recently retired senior group vice president of Hubbell Lighting Inc., was presented the 2003 NAED Associates Award, which is granted to an individual in the electrical manufacturing business who has been exceptionally active in promoting wholesale distribution as the best channel of electrical products and services.
