EPI Sees Dramatic +4.9% YOY Increase in July

Electrical Marketing's Electrical Price Index (EPI) saw the largest year-over-year (YOY) increase in more than two years. The +4.9% increase in the EPI's Total Index is 2.3 points over its historical average and was led by a +11.7% increase in Switchgear pricing and a +10.4% boost in Panelboards & Switches pricing. Fuses (+9.6%); Circuit Breakers (+8.9%);  Industrial Controls (+8.8%); and Generators (+8.5%) also saw large increases.
