Crescent Electric installs EV charger at Rockdale branch

Crescent Electric Supply Co., East Dubuque, Ill., has selected its Rockdale, Ill., branch to install its first electric vehicle charging station as part of the company's nationwide program to support the installation, training and service of EV supply equipment. In a press statement, Joe McDermott, Crescent Electric's Chicago-area district manager, said "The EV charger, supplied by Leviton Manufacturing Co., will be used to train electrical contractors, business owners and municipal agencies on proper installation, operation and maintenance procedures."
