Graybar (St. Louis): Stephen Cray will be district vice president in Seattle, effective Jan. 1, 2017. Cray will replace Kirk Snure, who plans to retire after more than 31 years with the company. Graybar’s Seattle district is one of 13 operating districts for the employee-owned company, serving customers throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii. In total, the district includes 12 locations and more than 430 employees.
Cray has 30 years of experience in the electrical industry and has been with Graybar for more than a decade. He currently serves as director, electrical sales, in the company’s Southern California region, a position he has held since 2008.
Eoff Electric Supply (Portland, Ore.): Les Williamson, company president, will retire on Jan. 13, 2017. He has been withEoff Electric Supply for 50 years. Sonepar says his impact and influence to the organization over the past five decades will leave a lasting legacy. As a result of Williamson’s retirement, Chris Butterfield, currently Eoff’s V.P. of finance and operations, will be moving into the role as president of Eoff. This change will be effective as Jan. 13, 2017. Butterfield has a strong background in finance and operations, and has been a leader at Eoff for the past seven years.
Omni Cable (West Chester, Pa.): Chris Sorah has been promoted to Tampa regional manager and Brad Cook moved from Tampa regional manager to Houston regional manager. Sorah has been with Omni Cable since 2013 and has 12 years of wire and cable experience. Before this promotion he was an account manager at the branch. Prior to Omni Cable, Sorah was a manager trainee at CED. Cook has over 30 years of wire and cable experience and a degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University.
Nora Lighting (Commerce, Calif.): Julian Lo and Danny Duong have joined Nora Lighting’s engineering and product innovation department. Lo, an electrical engineer, and Duong, a mechanical engineer, are developing next generation LED fixtures for residential and commercial applications. Among the products on their radar are advanced models of Nora’s Iolite LED Modular downlight, MLS Trimless combo fixtures and new LED Cylinder with a range of mounting options.
A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Lo has previously worked as a software and circuit board designer. Duong, who graduated from California State University, Long Beach, has a background in automotive engineering.
