Legrand  (West Hartford, CT)

Ratish Namboothiry (photo above) was appointed VP-Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for North and Central America. He will drive the sustainability and CSR efforts of Legrand, North & Central America (LNCA), which will include executive leadership and delivery of current CSR road map commitments and the rollout of the next global CSR Roadmap in 2025.
Reporting to LNCA President and CEO Brian DiBella, Namboothiry has also joined the company’s executive committee and is the executive sponsor of LNCA’s Better Communities, a volunteer and philanthropy program focused on improving the lives of those in the communities where Legrand operates in North America. He previously spent 18 years at Kohler Co., where he held various business roles involved with project management, new product development, innovation and sustainability.

 

NSi Industries (Huntersville, NC)

Jim Thivierge has joined the company as director of operations for its Building Technology division. Thivierge will oversee the unit’s operations in California, Ohio and Pennsylvania and will report to David DiDonato, the Building Technology Business Unit’s president.
With a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance from Southern New Hampshire University, Thivierge joins NSI after more than 17 years at Allied Wire & Cable, a part of Genuine Cable Group (GCG), most recently serving as director of operational excellence and customer experience. He also oversaw the operations of all the company’s satellite branches. Prior to his time at Allied Wire & Cable, he held several roles at Anixter and Anicom.

 

WAGO (Germantown, WI)

WAGO has named Sy Stevens as its new VP of Marketing and Digitalization for the Americas. He has held marketing management positions at companies such as Rockwell Automation and Case IH.
Service Wire Co. (Houston): Larry Sokolowski has joined Service Wire as national sales manager – Construction and will be working out of the Houston office. Sokolowski will be responsible for positioning Service Wire products with key contractors. 
He has more than 20 years of experience in electrical distribution with national construction accounts and holds a bachelor’s degrees in marketing/management from Rockhurst University. 

 

ETi Solid State Lighting (ETi) (Wheeling, IL)

Marc Jorgensen is now VP of sales for its the company’s Commercial & Industrial lighting division. He has more than 20 years of experience in the C&I Lighting industry and joins ETi after posts with Artemide and most recently LEDRAbrands, a premium specification brand.
Jorgensen will lead the upcoming sales channel launch of architectural lighting brand AURA by Dernier & Hamlyn (D&H) in addition to managing the ETi C&I Sales team. AURA by D&H is a new architectural brand offering modular luminaires that will debut to the lighting market at LEDucation 2024.

Distribution Strategy Group (DSG) (Boulder, CO)

This provider of content and specialized analytics for the wholesale distribution industry announced that Brian Hopkins has joined the company as chief customer officer.  Hopkins is recognized for his leadership skills and dedication to customer-centric cultures within the distribution industry.
Hopkins has more than 20 years of experience at Grainger and executive experience at HD Supply and Hisco. He holds a BA in management and marketing from Loras College and an MBA from Indiana Institute of Technology.
