Dominion Electric Supply (Arlington, Va.): The company has appointed company veteran Richard Williams as CEO. He will retain the title of president.

One Source (Oceanside, Calif.): Mike Smith now has an expanded role with the company as president and COO. With this promotion to president and COO, he will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational priorities of the company in all divisions. Prior to joining OneSource in 2006, Smith served as V.P. of operations and finance at Roden Electrical Supply, Knoxville, Tenn., from 1990 to 1997, and as director of product management for Eclipse Distribution Software from 1997 to 2006.

OneSource also hired two new managers, Ginger Lunde, senior project manager, and Elizabeth (Beth) Gill, director of training and customer relations. Lunde’s responsibilities include project management, business analytics and sales analytics. She comes to OneSource from Itron Inc., and has extensive experience in program management and as an analyst in California’s financial and utility markets. Gill’s responsibilities will include all internal training, including communicating the core values of OneSource. She worked with Buckles-Smith Electric for nearly 27 years as inside sales manager, human resources and training manager.

Nicor (Albuquerque, N.M.): The company has added several salespeople and new product development managers. Brett Wagoner is the new Western regional sales manager; Curt Zackiewicz is now with the company as a solid-state lighting engineer; and Lance Schulz was hired as purchasing and inventory control specialist.

ILSCO (Cincinnati): Scott Bosecker has been appointed consignment coordinator. He previously worked at GENCO Supply Chain as an operations supervisor, and as an inventory supervisor for Valco Cincinnati. In other news at the company, Sandy Saunders was promoted to customer service supervisor after serving ILSCO as consignment coordinator. She has been with the company for the past seven years. Saunders was previously employed at Hamilton Fixture Co. as a buyer/planner.

Robroy Industries/Conduit Division (Gilmer, Texas): Darryl Tyson has been appointed plant manager. His most recent position was as a plant operations manager in Mesquite, Texas, where he was directly responsible for the operational and financial performance of the entire facility. Tyson has held prior positions as value stream manager, manufacturing manager and production manager.

Electrical Board of Missouri & Illinois (EBMI) (Fenton, Mo.): Mike Schaeffer, Schaeffer Marketing Group, will be
EBMI’s chairman of the board for 2011-12. His fellow officers are John MacArthur, Frost Electric Supply; Greg Fowler, J.F. Electric; Keith Cooper, McClure Engineering; and past-chair Dave Schepers, Ameren.

WinWholesale Inc. (Dayton, Ohio): Jack Johnston became president, effective July 11. Formerly CFO, he has been with the company for 34 years. Johnston succeeds Richard Schwartz, who will remain CEO and chairman of the board. Johnston started as an accountant with the organization in 1977 and became CFO in 2005. Schwartz has been with WinWholesale since 1971. He became president, CEO and chairman of the board in 1998.

Bridgeport Fittings Inc. (Stratford, Conn.): Larry Beach Jr. is now technical sales manager. In his new position, Beach will train contractors, engineers, architects and end-users and help them gain project specifications. Previously, he was a field sales engineer with the electrical manufacturers representative Hozack Inc. in Seattle. An industry veteran since 1980, he has held many positions in the electrical industry, including electrician, operations manager, estimator and outside sales.

Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque): David Wascom, CIO, has been appointed to the Americas’ SAP Users’ Group board of directors. Wascom led Summit’s team of 20 in-house IT professionals in an enterprise-wide implementation of SAP in 2006, customizing many SAP functions to specifically meet Summit’s unique business needs as a distributor. He was named chief information officer in 2007, and his experience led him to become an active member of the Americas’ SAP Users’ Group.

Halco Technologies: (Norcross, Ga.): David Hosea was promoted to V.P. of sales, industrial/commercial. Hosea was previously Halco’s Southeast regional sales manager. He is a 27-year veteran in the lighting industry, including 17 years with Osram Sylvania.
