Electrical People: Summit names branch leaders in Waco and Austin; new directors of commercial sales and pricing at Dominion; and more

Cogwin and Bordelon join Summit in Texas; Cunigan and Rich take new posts at Dominion; Rohrbaugh to lead biz dev at Federal Signal; new appointments at Cape Electrical Supply; and Robroy names manager of its Gilmer, Texas, plant.

Summit Electric Supply, (Albuquerque): Jack Cogwin has joined the company as service center leader of its Austin, Texas, location and Donny Bordelon has joined Summit Electric Supply as service center leader of the company’s Waco, Texas location.  Cogwin has over 13 years of industrial distribution experience working for Gexpro Services, formerly General Electric Supply. Cogwin has a B.S. degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University.

Bordelon has worked in electrical distribution in central Texas for more than 30 years. He worked in sales and inventory control before becoming operations manager over multiple distributor locations throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

Dominion Electric Supply Co. (Arlington, Va.): Kathleen Cunigan has been promoted to director of commercial sales operation and James Rich is now pricing manager. In addition to her current responsibilities as manager of the Commercial Lighting Project Management department, Cunigan will be working with the executive V.P. of commercial sales to develop better processes and more efficiency for other sales groups throughout the company. Rich was previously pricing specialist.

Federal Signal Corp. (Oak Brook, Ill.): Scott Rohrbaugh, was appointed to the newly-created position of V.P., business development and innovation, reporting to Federal Signal’s chief administrative officer, Jennifer Sherman. Rohrbaugh was previously with Northrop Grumman Corp. He has a doctorate and undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Virginia.

Cape Electrical Supply (Cape Girardeau, Mo.):  At the company’s has new distribution facility and full-service location in Bowling Green, Ky., the following employees will be involved with different elements of branch, product and regional operations in the area. Kris Rogers will lead Cape Electric’s commercial and electrical sales efforts in Bowling Green. Mike Morris will continue to lead the utility business. Bill Pickens is the area’s regional manager.

Robroy Industries Conduit Division (Gilmer, Texas): Horacio Ramirez has been appointed plant manager of its Gilmer, Texas, facility. He has experience optimizing manufacturing operations in the automotive, electronics, and paper office supplies industries. Ramirez holds a bachelor of mechanical and electrical engineering from the Technological Institute of Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico; and recently completed a Master of Business Administration and Finance from the Universidad Tec Milenio, Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
