Powell joins Summit after serving as CEO and president for an employee-owned regional electrical distributor, Van Meter Industrial, Cedar Rapids, IA. He will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Victor Jury Jr. and be based out of Summit’s Albuquerque, NM, corporate headquarters. Enavate (Denver, CO): This provider of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP software has hired Matt Petersen as senior director of industry solutions to lead their wholesale distribution industry practice. Petersen has spent the past 30 years in the software industry, including the last 15 years focusing on wholesale distribution management and business processes.
He was a founding member of the Wholesale Distribution Industry Business Unit at SAP and in 2014 he joined Microsoft to lead the Dynamics Wholesale Distribution partner channel in the U.S. market. Petersen has a BA in economics from the University of Illinois and a Certificate of Distribution Management from Texas A&M University.

Yokogawa Corporation of America (Sugarland, TX): Shuji Mori is now CEO. As CEO, Mori will be responsible for all day-to-day business operations in North America. Mori, who has been with the company almost three decades, began his career as an engineer, helping implement systems projects for Yokogawa customers all over the world. Over the years he has held a variety of roles throughout the company, most notably in global major account sales, and has acquired extensive experience in the global industrial automation market.

In addition, her experience in retail, restaurant, hotel and commercial specifications will help open new opportunities for the company.
