Wiseway Supply, Florence, Ky., has purchased US Voice Data Video (USVDV), Covington, Ky., a low-voltage distribution specialist that gives Wiseway entry to new markets.
In a letter released to the media, Wiseway president John Cain said that the acquisition of USVDV will allow it to create a new low-voltage team with USVDV veterans Joe Dellecave and Denny Hungler leading the team.
The acquisition gives Wiseway new lines from manufacturers in voice, data, video, sound, security, fire alarm, power and electronics, providing supplies for customers in data centers, telephone system and data networks, home audio/video and theater, fire alarm and intercom systems and consolidating supply for existing customers.
Wiseway will maintain its VDV inventory at its Blue Ash, Ky., branch and distribution center and at its Florence, Ky., branch and will ship to its other four locations for next-day pickup.
“We are really ecstatic to be able to offer our customers this segment of products,” said Cain in the release. “We are also really excited to have the two knowledgeable and seasoned industry experts from USVDV on board and helping us to market these products to our customers.”
