Ecosense Lighting, Los Angeles, has acquired Lumium Lighting, Costa Mesa, CA.
Lumium makes a tightly focused range of interesting specification-grade architectural linear lighting systems, expanding Ecosense’s luminaire offerings to allow it to fully compete in the tier one, general office space market, said the Ecosense release announcing the deal.
“We are thrilled to partner with Ecosense and leverage their key strengths, including new technology development, manufacturing efficiencies, and global sales expertise,” said Jordan Kloos and Jeff Mitchell, co-principals of Lumium Lighting, in the Ecosense release.
Ecosense was founded in 2009 and has won all kinds of awards for lighting product design and for rapid growth over the years. It acquired Journée Lighting in 2015 to add downlights and track lighting to its lineup.
