Dennis Sadlowski has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Siemens Energy and Automation Inc., Atlanta, effective July 1. Sadlowski succeeds Aubert Martin, who is retiring after 40 years of service with Siemens. Sadlowski started at SE&A in 2000 as vice president and general manager of the Electrical Apparatus business unit in Atlanta. From 2003 to 2006, Sadlowski relocated to Germany where he led the Siemens Automation and Drives Sensors business. In 2006, as part of the planned succession, he returned to Atlanta and SE&A as chief operating officer, while concurrently managing the Power Distribution & Controls Division. Prior to joining Siemens, Sadlowski accrued nearly two decades of industry experience with GE and Thomas & Betts Corp.
