Bridgeport Fittings (Stratford, Conn.): Steven Schneider has been appointed eastern U.S. regional sales manager. His sales territory includes New England, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, eastern Tennessee, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Schneider’s prior experience includes regional sales management for Plymouth Rubber, Advanced Transformer, and most recently, Essex Electrical Products.
Wiedenbach-Brown Co. Inc. (New Rochelle, N.Y.): Doug Carver joins the distributor as national account executive, focusing on the Pacific Northwest and northern California markets and providing expertise in LED and fiber-optic lighting. Previously with Super Vision International as national accounts manager and director of architectural lighting, Carver dealt with more than 80 lighting agencies across the United States and Canada, including Wiedenbach-Brown.
Tyco International Ltd. (Pembroke, Bermuda): James Harman has been appointed vice president of advertising and branding. In this newly created position, Harman will be responsible for Tyco International’s corporate marketing communications, advertising, reputation and brand management and identity. Harman joins Tyco International from General Electric Co., where he spent 23 years, most recently as manager of corporate advertising.
Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting (Simi Valley, Calif.): Robert Shields has been named regional field technical specialist, based in Wilmington, N.C., and will cover Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Shields has more than 25 years experience in the landscape lighting business, most recently with Terra Metrics Inc.
