Electro-Federation Canada (EFC, Mississauga, Ontario): Milos Jancik has been appointed president of EFC, effective Jan. 1, 2005, when the current president, Doug Baldwin, will retire.

Electro-Federation Canada (EFC, Mississauga, Ontario): Milos Jancik has been appointed president of EFC, effective Jan. 1, 2005, when the current president, Doug Baldwin, will retire. Jancik joins EFC with 30 years of experience and involvement in the Canadian electrical/electronics industry, the last 13 as president, Moeller Electric Inc.

Regal Manufacturing (City of Industry, Calif.) With more than 35 years of electrical industry sales experience, Jim Dean joins Regal as national sales manager. Previously, Dean held regional and national sales positions with Ideal Industries and Red Dot.

SDi (Neptune, N.J.): Wendy Lawson joins SDi as central regional accounts manager for North America. Previously, she was financial manager with The Academy for Educational Development.

Wago Corp. (Germantown, Wis.) David Monfre has been promoted to strategic market manager-elevator industry. Monfre has been with Wago for more than 13 years, most recently as the North American account manager responsible for Otis Elevator, as well as industrial accounts within Wisconsin. Additionally, Jeff Cox has been appointed regional sales manager covering the area of southern Wisconsin. Most recently, Cox served as an account manager for Holt Electric.

Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC, Alexandria, Va.): John F. Biagas, president and CEO of Bay Electric Co. in Newport News, Va., has been elected national president of the Independent Electrical Contractors. Biagas was elected by the organization’s membership at the IEC’s annual convention in September. Others elected were Senior National Vice President John Quebe of KenMor Electric, Houston; National Vice President David Ekmark, Ekmark Electrical Co., Memphis, Tenn.; National Vice President Gene Mini, EPM Electric, Boonton, N.J.; National Treasurer Dennis Thomas, Thomco Electric, Beltsville, Md.; and National Secretary Greg Haren, Enertech Electrical, Lowellville, Ohio.

Ideal Industries Inc. (Sycamore, Ill.): Jeffrey Tisdell has been appointed product manager for the company’s cutting tool lines. Tisdell brings to Ideal an extensive portfolio of domestic and international marketing experience, most recently as international marketing and brand manager for Ibid brand of NewellRubbermaid in Munich, Germany.

Low Voltage Lighting Institute of the Americas (LVLIA, Pheonix): Two members were elected to the board of directors. Jim Boyd of Boyd Lighting Designs, San Antonio, Texas, will hold the position of secretary. Matt Bowers of Diamond Lites in Ashland, Ohio, was appointed senior business development director. The rest of the board includes Michele Swetesich, president; Andy VandeHey, vice president; Duane Koehler, treasurer; and Heinrich Fischer, past president.
