Eaton Corp. (Cleveland): Steve Boccadoro has been named senior V.P. of sales and marketing, effective Aug. 15. He joined the company in 1987 from Peat Marwick where he was an audit manager

Eaton Corp. (Cleveland): Steve Boccadoro has been named senior V.P. of sales and marketing, effective Aug. 15. He joined the company in 1987 from Peat Marwick where he was an audit manager. Since joining Eaton, Boccadoro has held positions of successively greater responsibility in both Canada and the U.S., including controller, plant manager, marketing manager and, most recently, vice president and general manager-Canada. In his new role, Boccadoro will report to Sandy Cutler, Eaton chairman and CEO, and will be based at Eaton’s world headquarters in Cleveland. Boccadoro holds a B.A. in commerce from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, and is a professional chartered accountant. He succeeds Jeffery Krakowiak, who has been named vice president and general manager-Canada for its Electrical Sector Americas Region.

Luminus Devices Inc., (Billerica, Mass.): Jim Hunter has joined the company as vice president and general manager, global commercial markets. Hunter will be responsible for increasing Luminus’ presence in the general lighting, ultra-violet (UV) and display lighting markets. Hunter joins Luminus from Philips Lighting North America where as vice president of marketing for the company and area marketing officer for Philips North America, Hunter managed a team of 70 marketers split between channel marketing, marketing communications, market intelligence and pricing. Prior to working in the lighting business, Hunter worked in Canadian consumer marketing and had positions at Scott Paper, Associated Brands and Nabisco. He received a M.B.A. at York University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph.

Fulham Co, Inc. (Los Angeles): Paul Foster has joined the company as V.P. and global product manager for electronic and magnetic HID ballasts, HID lamps and the emergency product family. He will coordinate all development activities required to bring Fulham HID and emergency programs to the market. He has spent the last 10-plus years in the lighting industry with companies including Acuity Brands Lighting and France Power Solutions.

WAC Lighting (Garden City, N.Y.): Thomas Wang has been appointed international sales manager. The brother of company President Shelley Wang and son of co-founders Tony and Tai Wang, Wang will be based in WAC Lighting’s international offices in Shanghai, China. He will be responsible for residential and commercial sales and working with sales agencies, distributors, designers and specifiers throughout Asia, Europe and the global arena. During the past two years, Wang worked in WAC Lighting’s international sales department, primarily in the company’s family-owned manufacturing campus and offices in Guangdong, China. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a B.S. degree.

Circuit Breaker Sales Co. (CBS) (Gainesville, Texas): Scott Peterson has been promoted to V.P. of East Coast operations. In addition to expanding the company’s East Coast presence, Peterson will also take responsibility for its full-service offices in Lakeland, Fla., and nuclear-qualified business in Matthews, N.C. Peterson will report directly to Bill Schofield, president of Circuit Breaker Sales and V.P. of business development for Group CBS Inc.

General Cable (Highland Heights, Ky.): Joe Zajac has been named manager, market development, Professional Broadcast and Commercial AV Products. In this role, Zajac will lead the market and business development efforts for both the Gepco brand and Sheer Wire line of products. He joined Gepco in 1996 and has held the positions of engineering manager, field engineer and operations manager and holds a B.A. in radio/sound from Columbia College.

BICSI (Tampa, Fla.): Mark Coppa has been appointed V.P. of professional development. He spent 17 years with the original and then successor companies of Pacific Bell, Pacific Telesis and SBC. He has a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University and a M.B.A. in business development from the University of Redlands. In other news at BICSI, Joe Sullivan, the association’s former assistant director of finance, has been promoted to director of administration and finance.

ILSCO (Cincinnati): Thomas Grant has been hired as product manager. He comes to ILSCO from Mennekes where he was region sales manager. Grant has spent 25 years in the electrical industry, including posts as tool designer at Crouse-Hinds, designer and product specialist at Arrow Hart and product management at Cooper Crouse-Hinds and Legrand/Pass & Seymour. At ILSCO he will be responsible for compression and grounding products as well as tools and will be located at the Cincinnati home office. He has a B.S. in business administration from Columbia College, Syracuse, N.Y., and an A.A.S. in mechanical technology from Piedmont Virginia Community College, Charlottesville, Va.

Cantex Inc. (Fort Worth, Texas): Mark Flanagan is the new director of sales and marketing and Mark Bauer has joined the sales staff as pricing/product manager. Flanagan has 20 years of experience with the company as regional manager and in product development. Bauer will focus on coordinating pricing nationally with Cantex’s rep network. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Florida State University.

Echelon Corp. (San Jose, Calif.): Ron Sege has been appointed president, CEO and to the company’s board of directors. He most recently served as president, CEO and board member of 3Com Corp. from 2008 through its acquisition by HP.
