A judge for the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) dismissed Pass & Seymour (P&S) from its investigation of certain P&S Harmony dimmers in an intellectual property suit brought by Lutron Electronics in May 2011. The ruling was handed down in November 2011 formally dismissing P&S as a respondent, but P&S released the information this week. Lutron, in response to a request for comment from Electrical Marketing, pointed out that the original patent-infringement suit is still pending in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and remains unresolved.
