In a move to further position itself as a leading provider of residential control and automation systems, Legrand North America, West Hartford, Conn., has acquired Vantage Controls, Orem, Utah.

“Lighting control and automation are seeing significant double-digit growth, and this acquisition ensures we have the increased capacity, expanded product lines, and sales channels to meet the growing demand,” said John Selldorff, president and CEO of Legrand North America.

Renamed Vantage/Legrand, Vantage Controls is the sixth Legrand business group in North America. With Vantage Controls’ solid and proven reputation for innovation, technology and experienced people, Vantage/Legrand will offer a powerful means to integrate lighting, audio/video, window treatments, heating, cooling, security and other functions into one central system. The company is well positioned for expansion as consumer demand for control and automation increases in the residential and commercial markets.
