Hughes Supply Inc., Orlando, has completed the acquisition of National Construction Products Inc., a distributor of construction materials serving the Atlanta area. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
National Construction Products was owned by Larry Darnell, who will continue to manage the business. The company, which specializes in tilt wall construction products, has annual sales of approximately $8 million and employs 15 full-time associates.
Jim Holland, president of Hughes’ Building Materials business, said, “Larry Darnell has led National Construction Products in becoming the undisputed leader in the tilt wall construction market throughout the metro Atlanta area. We are excited to join forces in continuing our plan to increase market share.”
