FSG’s Erickson goes national

Facility Solutions Group (FSG), Austin Texas, announced that Bernie Erickson will expand his Energy Solutions activities within FSG to focus on lighting upgrades on a national basis.

FSG acquired Bernie Erickson’s company, O.K. Electric Supply, Perth Amboy, N.J., which serves industrial and commercial customers in the N.Y. and N.J. metropolitan areas and promotes energy-saving projects through its Energy Solutions division.

Bill Graham, FSG’s CEO, says Erickson probably has walked more miles than anyone doing lighting audits in offices, schools, distribution centers, parking lots, casinos, churches and even Navy vessels. “Bernie is known in the industry as the “B” of the Electrical Wholesaling’s A to Z of Energy (Al Gore is the “A”) and has upgraded thousands of facilities, uncovering millions of dollars in rebates for his customers,” says Graham.

FSG’s six divisions are FSG Lighting, a national distributor of top-brand lighting and electrical products; FSG Electric, an electrical contractor in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Canada; FSG National Accounts; FSG Energy, which provides energy management consulting and installation services; FSG Technology, a provider of voice-data-video-security design, installation and repair; and FSG Signs, which focuses on sign design, sale, installation and maintenance.
