Cooper Industries Ltd., Houston, said it acquired Camarillo, Calif.-based G&H Technology Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

The company said G&H makes connectors and interconnect devices designed for harsh environments in the aerospace, subsea, military and industrial markets. G&H, which booked sales of about $21 million in the last fiscal year, will become part of its Cooper Crouse-Hinds division.

"G&H provides highly technical specification-grade technologies that augment the traditional markets served by our Cooper Crouse-Hinds portfolio and extend our growth opportunities in the military, molded products and heavy-duty industrial sectors," said Kirk S. Hachigian, the company’s president and chief executive in a statement.

Cooper said it also recently acquired Torrance, Calif.-based Novitas Inc., a maker of occupancy sensors, switch packs and accessories. Financial terms were not disclosed. Novitas generated sales of about $7 million and was folded into the Cooper Wiring Devices division.
