Southwire adds VDV tools

Southwire, Carrollton, Ga., surprised some in the industry when it got into the tool business last year with a broad array of electrician tools. The company is now adding a new line of over 40 voice-data- video (VDV) tools, which it will unveil at CEDIA Expo 2014 in Denver next week.

Southwire, Carrollton, Ga., surprised some in the industry when it got into the tool business last year with a broad array of electrician tools. The company is now adding a new line of over 40 voice-data- video (VDV) tools, which it will unveil at CEDIA Expo 2014 in Denver next week.

“Installers are passionate about the tools in their tool bag,” said John Payne, Southwire’s product director for VDV, Test & Measurement. “Our objective is to build professional tools that exceed our customers’ expectations for quality, performance and features – tools that make a difference on the real-world jobsite.”
