EcoSense Lighting, Los Angeles, a manufacturer of LED luminaires, closed over $25 million in financing led by Richmond Global Ventures, as well as follow-on investments from Bain Capital Ventures and Flagship Ventures.

The company said it will use this investment to accelerate new product introductions and enhance R&D capabilities. The company’s product lineup includes linear and cove luminaires and floods, as well as a focus on smooth dimming to 0%. Its specification-grade products have been installed in thousands of locations around the world including the Everyman Theater in the UK and the Rosewood Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

EcoSense, established in 2008, was recently named to the Inc. Magazine 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America and the LA Business Journal’s list of 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Los Angeles.

“We have been following the tremendous growth of EcoSense these past couple of years and are truly impressed with their strategy and performance,” says David Frazee, managing partner at Richmond Global Ventures. “We invest in disruptive companies that can scale globally. EcoSense has an exceptional leadership team and we are very excited to support their continued growth.”
