Omni Cable, West Chester, Pa., has appointed Eugene (Gene) P. Bruni, former president of United Electric, New Castle, Del., to the company's board of directors. The appointment followed an extensive search, Omni said in a release, and chose Bruni for his leadership skills and industry expertise, as well as his experience leading an employee-owned company.
Bruni held various senior positions while at United. During his time there he contributed to the company's growth from 35 employees, one location, and $3 million in sales to 300 employees, 15 locations and $185 million in sales.
