Aug. 19, 2016
Diode LED, a division of Elemental, provides a variety of linear, task and accent LED lighting for both commercial and residential applications.

LED lighting manufacturer Elemental LED, Emeryville, Calif., is expanding its operations into Europe entering the market with its Diode LED brand.

The company has opened an office in the United Kingdom.  Alex Findlay has been hired as director of International Sales & Development reporting to Chris Le Blanc, chief revenue officer and EVP at Elemental LED.

Elemental LED said in a press release that this expansion is “in response to strong demand for the company’s configured solutions and is a strategic growth initiative going forward.”

Diode LED, a division of Elemental, provides a variety of linear, task and accent LED lighting for both commercial and residential applications.

“Our investment into Europe is a direct response to the growth of the company,” said Randy Holleschau, CEO at Elemental LED, in the release. “By expanding our team to Europe we’re better aligned to drive transformative and innovative technology advancements to the global lighting market.”

“Although Europe has a variety of LED lighting suppliers, there is a void when it comes to low voltage linear technology solution providers that engineer custom configured solutions,” adds Chris Le Blanc. “There is a strong demand for Elemental LED’s many patented configured solutions in the European market. With the flexibility and advanced engineering offered by our products, we believe to be positioned for exponential growth in a market with substantial opportunities.”
