Who's On the Move in the Electrical Industry

Halco Lighting Technologies (Norcross, Ga.): Jay Weaver has been hired as CFO. He comes to Halco with 23 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting in manufacturing and distribution businesses. Before joining Halco, Weaver served as CFO for Onity, a United Technologies Climate/Controls/Security Company. Prior to Onity, Weaver held finance and accounting positions at Kraft Foods, Inc., Diversity Food Processing and Union Camp Corp. He has a BA in accounting from James Madison University.

Border States Electric (BSE) (Fargo, N.D.): Kelly Rudolf has been named senior IT manager and Jason Seger has been named V.P. procurement. Seger joined BSE in November 1999 as part of the utility marketing team. He has worked in a variety of roles including material requirements planning specialist, utility sales and marketing coordinator, purchasing manager and director of inventory and operations. In April 2010, he was named V.P. operations and inventory and appointed to the company’s executive council. Rudolf joined BSE in 2003 and has held the positions of IT tech IV, senior network engineer, network supervisor and IT infrastructure manager.

In other news at BSE, Josh Reeh will participate in the company’s management trainee program and be located in the Midland, Texas, branch. Reeh graduated from Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas, with a BA in business management. He  began his career at BSE in Jan. 2013.

comCables (Denver):  Michael Capulli has been appointed V.P. of sales. Most recently, he served as the director of sales at Security General Intternational Ltd (SGI) and V.P. of sales at SGI California LLC with responsibility for global sales.  He has more than 30 years of security industry experience prior to SGI, Capulli worked in executive level positions for Tyco, GVI-Samsung, Digital Security Controls and Tri-Ed Inc. comCables, a Tier 1 manufacturers of structured cabling.

Engineered Products Company (EPCO) (Minneapolis): James Caisley, a 23-year veteran in electrical manufacturing, has joined the company as Western region sales manager. Prior to joining EPCO, Caisley held several sales development and account management positions for electrical manufacturers and sales agencies representing manufacturers. He was most recently Western region sales manager for Klein Tools.

Electro-Mechanical Corp./Federal Pacific/Line Power (Bristol, Va.): Jose “BB” Bertran has joined the company as a sales engineer and will be responsible for all medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, and custom gear manufactured and sold under the Federal Pacific, Line Power, and  Line Power Custom Solutions brand names.  His primary responsibility will be to increase market penetration and sales in the Florida and Georgia markets, and he will report to Jim Arndt, Southeast regional sales manager. Bertran has more than 30 years of electrical industry sales and marketing experience and worked most recently for General Electric. He has a degree in  electrical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico.

Staco Energy Products Co. (Dayton, Ohio): Dan Hinkle is the company’s new V.P. of service.  In this newly created position, Hinkle will support all customers in the field and report directly to Staco president Jeff Hoffman.  An Ohio native with a degree in business administration and marketing management from the University of Dayton, Hinkle held executive roles at Panasonic, Hartzell Fan and most recently ITW-Hobart before joining Staco. Sam Sembhi, who formerly handled service and quality initiatives at Staco, will continue to serve the company as quality assurance manager. 

Rexel Holdings USA (Dallas):  Lisa Scinta has been promoted to vice president of operations and logistics reporting directly to Chris Hartmann, executive vice president and CEO of Rexel Holdings USA. Scinta, previously vice president of operations for Rexel Holdings USA’s Rexel Inc. division, will have responsibility for operations, logistics, facilities, transportation and real estate activities across Rexel Holdings USA. In her 14 years with the organization, she has held various roles in pricing, profitability and operations.

ILSCO (Cincinnati):  Paul Brandt has assumed the position of director, industrial sales. In his new role, Brandt will focus on growing ILSCO’s industrial business through a strong focus on the industrial end user. He began his tenure with ILSCO 14 years ago and, most recently was the sales and marketing lead for the JD Edwards ERP project. Succeeding Brandt as director of marketing is Mark Rubick, who joined ILSCO in late 2012 as vertical market manager for communications. He came to ILSCO after holding various sales and marketing positions at Belden and Thomas & Betts. In other news at ILSCO, Randy Shelley is now product data manager and will be tasked with day-to-day data management for the ILSCO and UTILCO brand of connectors.  He has been with ILSCO 14 years and has held several positions during his tenure, most recently that of UTILCO product manager.

PLC Lighting Controls (Everett, Wash.): Garrison Leykam has been named national sales manager, where he will manage the continued growth of PLC’s Buildings and Sensors divisions and build their manufacturers’ representative and OEM channels while also leading the sales effort for the company’s energy and institutional sales channels. He previously worked for MCI Telecommunications, Cablevision, DSL.net, and most recently as senior V.P. of sales and marketing for Phoenix Hardwood Floors.  Leykam has earned a master’s degree from the New School for Social Research.
