Electrical People: Lim retires at Griffith Electric in New Jersey

Ron Lim steps down after almost 50 years in the industry, Rosario to manage Northeast regional sales for Civilight, Jay Matsueda joins LSI Industries, and more!

Griffith Electric Supply (Trenton, N.J.): Industry veteran Ron Lim,  vice president of sales for Griffith Electric, is retiring at the end of this month after almost 50 years in the electrical wholesaling industry. Before coming to Griffith Electric Supply, Lim’s executive posts in the electrical business include vice president of sales and marketing for Genlyte-Crescent/Stonco.

Civilight North America (Cary, N.C.): Ulysses Rosario has been appointed Northeast regional sales manager. Rosario will service distributors, specifiers and lighting professionals from Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland, up through Maine, and in eastern Canada from Toronto to Nova Scotia. 

In his new role, Rosario will be responsible for driving growth in the Northeast through independent lighting sales representative agencies. He is an ALA lighting specialist who will introduce Civilight North America’s three series of LED lamps — architectural, professional and commercial — to distributors, specifiers and lighting professionals in this territory.

Before Civilight North America, Rosario was sales manager for Bulbrite Industries. In this role, Rosario directed a large sales force team that represented more than 30 agencies nationwide, and he was instrumental in helping the company to cross the $20 million annual revenue threshold.

LSI Industries Inc. (Blue Ash, Ohio): Jay Matsueda has joined the company as senior director of strategic marketing and communications for the Lighting Solutions division. He will report to Shawn Toney, president of LSI Lighting Solutions. In his new role, Matsueda will lead LSI Industries’ Lighting Solutions Marketing in support of sales, product management and C-level executive goals toward company growth, with particular focus on LED lighting fixtures and artistic LED lighting solutions.

He will manage all aspects of marketing strategy and execution, public relations, trade shows, collateral, site content, social media, competitive research, creative direction and brand development. Matsueda was previously global marketing director for Fulham Co. and holds an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Barron Lighting Group (Glendale, Ariz.): Roni Faller has joined the company as its Midwestern regional vice president. Faller brings to Barron Lighting more than 20 years of experience in business development, sales strategies and marketing knowledge, including work for product manufacturers, a manufacturing representative of architectural and lighting products, and national account sales.

In her new role, Faller will be responsible for the key account relationships, regional strategies, growth and training within her territory consisting of Ohio, Michigan Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.

Novinium (Kent, Wash.): Mike LaClair has returned to the company as Northeast regional sales manager  and will manage direct sales of Novinium’s cable rehabilitation products and services to the utility and industrial markets in the northeastern United States. LaClair has over 20 years of experience in sales management roles, having worked for Eaton Corp. (formerly Cooper Bussman) in the power management solutions industry, ABB Power Transmission & Distribution, and COTO Technologies as well as previously working for Novinium in sales. LaClair has a degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern and an MBA from the Dowling College in New York.

WinWholesale Inc. (Dayton, Ohio): Annlea Rumfola, of Dublin, Ohio, has joined the WinWholesale board of directors. Rumfola is an information technology professional with broad experience shaping IT strategies and delivering transformative solutions for technically complex environments.

She is senior vice president, Pharmaceutical Segment, Information Technology, for Cardinal Health in Dublin. Rumfola has been with Cardinal Health since 1991 when she started as an analyst in inventory management and has advanced since then to increasingly responsible positions. WinWholesale is a privately-held broad-based distribution company whose board is now made up of nine directors with the addition of Rumfola. The company’s board includes three inside and six outside directors. All directors are elected annually.
